It’s about damn time! Bruno Mars has revealed that he has finished his new album already, and now Billboard reports that the album, Unorthodox Jukebox, will be released December 11.
According to Bruno, Jukebox represents his freedom, and him “going into the studio and recording whatever I want”. Some producers on the album include Diplo, Mark Ronson and Supa Dups. According to the “Grenade” singer the album refuses to choose a (musical) lane, leaving record label big wigs disgruntled as to how they’ll promote it. The whole drama left Bruno insulted because, as he points out, he’s not “trying to be a circus act”.
Sounds like there might have been a little Kelly Clarkson kind of drama circa- “My December” going on behind the scene. Be that as it may, Bruno is a talented guy and bridges the gaps quite effortlessly between various genres, so he’ll be just fine.
His new singe, “Locked Out Of Heaven” premieres and will be available for digital download come Monday (October 1) in the US. I have to say, he knows how to bring out a big single, so I’m confident that “Heaven” will be a Hot 100 staple for the next few months.
