5FM and Seed Experienced announced Monday (02/09) that Brit indie band Bastille will perform two concerts in SA. The shows will take place in January 2014.
Hailed as one of Britain’s most exciting new bands. Fans will rock out to ‘Bad Blood’, ‘Overjoyed’, ‘Flaws’ and the chart-topping ‘Pompeii’ in the magnificent surrounds of SA’s greenest festival locations.
As well as drawing the biggest crowd ever at Glastonbury’s John Peel Stage, Bastille has drawn huge numbers at many of the UK’s summer festivals and continues to play high-profile slots at many more.
Bastille is an uber fave. Their debut album Bad Blood is still one of the best of 2013. They have succeeded in merging indie with a more accessible sound, perfect for today’s market.
The concerts will be held at green locations, and concert goers are requested to respect the environment.
The concerts will take place in Cape Town on 08 January 2014, and Johannesburg three days later. Tickets are priced at R365.00. We’ve already got ours. Remember the golden rule: You snooze, you lose.
